Captain Tyler

Captain Tyler Batten has been fishing the waters of Ocean Isle Beach since he was a small boy and now lives year round on the island. Capt. Tyler earned his captain’s license from the United States Coast Guard in the Spring of 2020 and is a member of the American Professional Captain’s Association.

Experience

Capt. Tyler has experience in offshore, nearshore and inshore fishing in the Ocean Isle Beach area, but has chosen to focus his charters on the backwater and nearshore fish indigenous to Ocean Isle. Capt. Tyler is the owner of High Tide Fishing Charters.

High Tide Objectives

At High Tide Fishing Charters, Capt. Tyler’s goals are to provide the best fishing experience for all anglers, including the hard-core angler to the family booking its first fishing experience. No matter your experience level on the water, Capt. Tyler will adapt the charter to create an excursion that suits the individual.
